The Appraisers' role in the lending process is primarily one of protection. And the Appraisal is a very important part of the total lending process. At MRC we take this dual role very seriously.

MRC is an appraisal company focused on maximizing the productivity of our appraisers and of our clients.

Comp checks are done on every order before we schedule the site inspection. We review the market and let the Loan Officer know the likely value range. Then, the Loan Officer can decide to restructure the prospective loan with their client or to move on to more probable loan outcomes.

7-Day turnaround is standard at MRC because we realize that time is of the essence. All appraisal orders are put on a 7-day clock when received. In most cases, orders are delivered within 7 days or less from the time we receive them.

100% internal review is also standard procedure at MRC because we know presentation and content quality are critical to avoid underwriter stipulations.

Working on Local Area Networks and our new Wide Area Network all appraisals are developed on the MRC Servers. Online Ordering integrates directly with our software and sets up the order for immediate processingsaving time on both ends.

Online tracking of the order tells Loan Officers the status of all orders placed in real time. No more phone calls needed to determine order status.

Clerical work is done by clerical staff - appraisal work is done by appraisers. Order and scheduling information, factual subject data and appraiser selected Comparable Sales data area entered into reports by trained clerical staff. Inspections and Analysis are done by our appraisers.
